Men and women live in a vast underground silo with few regulations that they believe protect them from the toxic and destroyed world above. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” and “Laine.” — the book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in various episodes spin the wrong way, given the orientation of the blades. Silo is a really good sci-fi series that has that rarity that most other sci-fi shows and movies unfortunately lack — it’s actually really smart! The writing is excellent, it’s well directed, and the stars are all excellent in the acting department. Some of the supporting and lesser characters could have been better, but overall the casting department did a good job. I can see why some other reviews point out that the show starts off great, but then goes on to have a lot of “side adventures” that are unrelated to the main story, and aren’t resolved, but I’m totally fine with that. I’m sure the show will come back and they plan to continue and resolve the various storylines. I for one can’t wait to see how he’ll tie everything together when he returns!
