A new animated film called HITG has appeared in theaters. Based on the children’s book “Pete and Pickles” by Berkeley Breathed, this is the story of Heatpig (Jason Sudeikis), a pig hunter who returns escaped animals to their owners. I will say right away that the name does not make sense, a pig does not kill anyone like a murderer. Probably, it should be called something like “PETE THE POPULATION HUNTER” or “PETE AND THE PICKLES”. His name is literally Heatpig. On the way, he meets Pickle (Lily Singh), an elephant who escaped from the insidious and impudent Jumper. Lord of the Swimsuit (Rain Wilson). They form a bond that makes Heatpig question his career and life. This film is amazing. I understand that it was not invented by me. Humor is everywhere, sometimes it is aimed at children with a low goal, sometimes with a high one. Lots of jokes. The story moves at a mile-a-minute speed, sometimes literally, leaving you holding your breath. All characters speak quickly, but I was glad to hear Hannah Gadsby in the role of Cheeky Koala. The film looks low-budget, and I’m surprised that it made it to the cinemas. There are some good walls about the family you choose. Hitipig! In my opinion, it’s a good movie, but it’s instantly forgettable and not worth the money unless you have a young child with ADHD who loves loud noises and bright colors.
