A continuation of a story about the settlement of the American West. It follows the further adventures of the characters first introduced in Horizon: An American Saga.. The film was originally scheduled for an August 16, 2024 release. However, after the commercial failure of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024), New Line Cinema removed its sequel from its original release date, postponing it indefinitely. Chapter 2 premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2024, with an uncertain theatrical release.. Horizon (2024) is coming up. I’m writing this review on behalf of a few of us city dwellers who currently live in the San Pedro Valley in southern AZ. We’re loving this series so far!! This kind of story is home for us. I think a lot of the negative reviews of this show are from city people who probably don’t know anything about what life is really like in the American Southwest. The rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert is truly a sight to behold. We are proud to live in one of the most historically significant parts of the Lower 48. Costner’s show is trying to remind Americans where we came from, because it’s more relevant now than at any time in our history. It’s not about glamour and extreme entertainment. It’s about history and reality. I know most of you find both of those boring, but maybe you could try looking at this from a different perspective. Don’t watch these movies like you would most other movies. Take off your Hollywood tinted glasses, bring your mind back to the real world, don’t expect extreme entertainment in anything, and watch this story like a real American would. You’re really missing out if you don’t. S. We have a famous western movie right next door. What’s cooler than that? :-P..
