A couple of comments: this miniseries is based on the highly acclaimed earlier French TV series “Le Bureau des Legendes”. This is the latest from Oscar-winning British director Joe Wright (“Darkest Hour”).

As Episode 1 unfolds, there is A LOT going on (at least 3 parallel storylines) and it took me a while to see and understand the bigger picture. By the time we get to episode 2, I was fully invested because there is tension and drama everywhere. This miniseries benefits greatly from Michael Fassbender’s excellent lead performance (as the Martian). By the end of Episode 2, I was (and am) ready for more.

I can’t wait!
