Blake (Christopher Abbott), a San Francisco husband and father, inherits his childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father is presumed dead. When his marriage to his powerful wife Charlotte (Julia Garner) turns sour, Blake convinces Charlotte to take a break from the city and move to the estate with her partner.
